The MobileIron enterprise mobility management (EMM) platform secures and manages apps and content across modern operating systems at enterprise scale.
My drive at MobileIron comes the belief that our enterprise products should be best in class. We are the leader in EMM and my desire is for our design and user experiences to reflect and promote our stature in the field.
I strive for modern design patterns, simplicity and the understanding that when a user makes a choice, it should be obvious what happened and what to do next.
Some of the projects i've worked to improve at MobileIron are:
• New Add Apps flow that reflects and ecosystem
• New Apps Catalog filter system and quick view
• Drive our team to move towards pixel perfect svg icons and past simple png implementation
• Visual improvements for outdated designs but further the design by helping users recognize their choices
GE Healthcare project creating a public facing experience for a software solution that will further the way medical institutions share and archive patient data.

OMC is a new division of the big O and needed a web presence with a more approachable draw to their experience.
We started off working with their internal team and listened to their UX ideas and from there expanded upon those to a full clickable wireframe experience.
After they got buy in from the larger team we moved forward to design and came up with a new look that played off the sub-brand efforts their team had been working on to create a clean and friendly experience that also felt modern and marketing focused.
"Jason's work was incredibly well received at Oracle and is considered some of the most innovative site design done to date. He led and created ground breaking, innovative work, that succeeded at all odds." - Kirk Keply, Project Manager

MyHyundai asked our team to show them how we would approach making a more lifestyle focused and engaging user experience for their customer site myhyundai.com. These are some ideas i put together and ended up presenting at their corporate offices in Southern California.
Our team did a full strategy, user experience and design project for the AAA western territories region. From that we designed templates for both the public facing experience and an engaging user loyalty area for the MyAAA portion.
Homepage Design and MyAAA designs
AAA also wanted some ideas around a very different experience with much less copy and much more of a jumping off point to make decisions. This is concept shows a very streamlined approach .
Architects and builders take big sheets of drawings to jobsites and other locations and the client wanted to improve that scenario by moving them into the cloud. It's a big challenge because you need to upload large pdf files and also separate the individual sheets and categorize them in the process. Once they were uploaded the user should be able to view them full screen and also apply a number of other functions like tagging, attaching addendum files, updating a new version of the sheet and more.
Our lead developer found how to make the large sheets tile like an online map so you're not looking at the whole sheet at one time but you can zoom in very closely but also doesn't take as long to load as a full sized pdf sheet would.
It was a very fun challenge to UX and design something that has stayed such an analog workflow into the digital space. The client is currently working with investors to take this to the next level.
We created the DocuSign video as a promotional piece to use at events and online to demonstrate how DocuSign has made signing Fast, Easy and Secure. This project through HanleyWood showcases an actual model home that gets built. We created an interactive virtual showcase that features the floor plan guided by video and icon prompts to information and actual products from sponsor of the home tour.
MuscleMilk had a site that was built mainly in flash and was very difficult to update and didn't represent the quality brand that people reach for in retail stores everyday. We worked with them to build a user experience that was much better for users and allowed content authors flexibility to update athletes and products which are constantly changing.
Branding, identity and iconography projects for various clients
When creating the Rauxa.com website we wanted to show off the personality of the people that work there.
I photographed team members capturing their personalities which became a fun vehicle to keep the homepage fresh and bring a lot of personality to the site at the same time, introducing key players on the team to new and current clients.
A touch of color was brought to the images to give them a branded feel. The final look with text and interactive elements overlaying the photographs gives the whole page a lot of power.
I worked with the marketing department at Intuitive Surgical to create UX and Design that showed off the sophistication of their robotic surgery equipment and would set the tone for this innovative company as the clear leader in the medical world.
